Overview
Those figures are in AUD with no GST added (we're an overseas supplier, not registered for Australian GST). You get one written AUD figure after a site check, not an hourly rate. We work remotely from India, 12:30pm to 9:30pm AWST, so changes can happen after you close and sit on staging for you next morning. Perth developers publish $100–$200 an hour for fixes and $3,000–$10,000 for a business site; the full comparison is below.

Nine Perth WordPress providers, their published prices and GST wording (6 Oct 2026)
Nine Perth WordPress providers came up for this search on 6 October 2026. Each figure below is copied from that provider's own page as printed: four publish a figure, four publish none, and one blocked our reader.
Read the GST column first. Only Lethal Digital says whether its price includes GST, so ask the others to put it in writing. Ours: no GST added.
| Provider (area) | Build price published | Support or hourly figure | Timeline stated | GST wording | Page date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brad Farleigh (freelancer) | No build prices | $100–$200 an hour; fixed jobs $300–$3,000; paid diagnostic, figure not published | Diagnostic usually within 3 business days of access | Not stated | Mar 2026; May 2026 (updated 24 Sep 2026) |

Wage costs feed into agency rates: WA average weekly earnings were $2,304 in the December quarter 2025, 8.4% above the national average (WA Government economic profile).
One caution about whatsthedamage.com.au, quoted in the next table: the site also sells Perth leads to agencies (checked 6 Oct 2026), so read its bands as background rather than quotes.

WordPress web design Perth and the work after launch: a price for each job
Loaded, White Peak and Lethal price builds; Brad Farleigh prices fixes. A Perth site needs both over its life, so each job below sits beside a published Perth figure. Agency figures from across Australia are on our WordPress development page for Australia.
| Job | Perth market figure (who publishes it) | Codingclave (AUD, no GST added) | What moves the price |
|---|---|---|---|
| New small site | $3,000–$10,000 (White Peak); single page from $2,450 incl. GST (Lethal) | A$900–A$4,300 | Page count, who writes the copy, custom design |
| Multi-page business site or redesign | $5,000–$10,000 small, $15,000–$25,000+ medium (Loaded); $8,000–$10,000+ (Lethal) | A$1,200–A$6,900 | Bookings, integrations, how much content moves across |
| Online shop (WooCommerce on our side) | E-commerce $15,000–$35,000+ (Loaded) | A$2,400–A$19,500 | Product count, shipping rules, payment set-up (gateways named in your quote) |
| Small fix or change | $300–$3,000 fixed, or $100–$200 an hour (Brad Farleigh) | Free written quote after a site check; you approve the figure before work starts | Access, plugin conflicts, age of the theme |
| Hacked-site clean-up | $500–$3,000 (whatsthedamage.com.au, a lead-sales site, as published 6 Oct 2026) | Free written quote after a site check (how we handle hacked sites) | How deep the infection runs, whether clean backups exist |
| Takeover, host move or PHP upgrade | Migration to WordPress $2,000–$8,000 (whatsthedamage.com.au, as published 6 Oct 2026); no Perth figure for host moves | Free written quote after a site check | Theme age, page builder, licences you can produce |
| Monthly care plan | $100–$500 a month including hosting and licences (whatsthedamage.com.au, as published 6 Oct 2026) | A$80–A$240 a month for hosting, backups, monitoring and support; premium licences not included | Update frequency, traffic, WooCommerce |
| Training and handover | None published | Account handover comes with every build; extra staff training quoted in writing | Number of staff, which editor they use |
Fixes are quoted as one written AUD figure after a site check, not as an hourly rate; anything outside that scope is quoted in writing before work starts. The site check costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Site hacked or down right now? Send the URL and what happened. We work until 9:30pm AWST, Monday to Saturday.
Pricing a build, a redesign or a care plan instead? Message the job, your current URL and your suburb. The cost of a whole Perth website, item by item, is on our Perth website prices page.

Freelance WordPress developer Perth vs a Perth agency vs a remote team: diagnostic, build time, hours
Brad Farleigh's May 2026 post weighs a Perth freelancer against a Perth agency. A remote team is the third option, so it's in the table too, judged on the same published terms.
When a Perth freelancer is the better call
One fault on an otherwise healthy site, and you'd like to meet the person fixing it. A paid diagnostic makes sense when nobody knows the cause yet. Ask who covers when they're away.
When a Perth agency earns its fee
A WordPress multisite running several brands, a membership platform that needs a developer every month, or a build a board must sign off at each stage. Loaded prices that tier above $40,000 and allows 3–6 months for complex jobs.
When a remote team fits
A fixed budget, a clear scope, and progress you can check each morning. You give up meetings in person and a Perth phone number; you get written AUD bands, staging review before launch, and the person who quoted the job answering for it.
| What you're weighing | Perth freelancer (Brad Farleigh's published terms) | Perth agency (Loaded, Lethal, Inkjam, Itomic terms) | Codingclave (remote, founder-led) |
|---|---|---|---|
| First step | Paid diagnostic, then a fixed quote | Free quote; Inkjam replies within 24 hours | Free written quote after a site check |
| Build time | Fixes and support only, no build prices | 6–12 weeks (Loaded); 1–2 weeks design plus 3–4 weeks build (Lethal) | 1–2 weeks once content arrives |
| Prices on the page | Hourly and fixed-job bands | Bands at Loaded and Lethal; none at Itomic or Inkjam | AUD bands on this page |
| Working hours | Not stated | Mon–Fri 8am–4pm (Inkjam) | Mon–Sat 12:30pm–9:30pm AWST |
| Who does the work | The freelancer | Agency team; Itomic assigns a dedicated project manager | Founder-led delivery under Ashish Sharma |
| Meeting in person | Usually possible; ask | Perth offices (Itomic on St Georges Tce, Inkjam in Mount Hawthorn) | No; video calls and WhatsApp |
| Best for | One fault on a sound site, diagnosed before you commit | A multisite network or membership platform with ongoing development and board sign-off | A 5–20 page site or WooCommerce shop with a fixed scope and budget |
Not sure which of the three suits your job? Tell us the job and your deadline and we'll say plainly if a Perth freelancer or agency would serve it better.

WordPress support Perth: updates after close of trade, and the Christmas PHP deadline
Inkjam lists office hours of Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Ours run later on the Perth clock, and four things follow from that and from our location.
A gap that never moves
Neither AWST nor IST uses daylight saving, so Perth stays 2.5 hours ahead of Lucknow in January and July alike, while east-coast gaps shift each October. Updates and plugin changes can run after your close of trade, until 9:30pm AWST, with a staging link ready next morning. Our Perth hours table has the detail.
Book PHP and host moves in November
PHP 8.2 stops getting security fixes on 31 December 2026. In WA, that same week holds Christmas Day (Friday 25 December), Boxing Day (Saturday 26 December) and the extra Boxing Day holiday on Monday 28 December. An upgrade left that late can break a plugin while your staff and your host's support team may be on leave. Schedule it for November, test on staging and keep a way to roll back. What to check first is in our PHP 8.2 guide.
Teaching your staff the editor
Every build ends with a handover on a video call, which you're welcome to record, covering how to edit pages, add posts and, on a WooCommerce site, process orders. Extra sessions for more staff or a different editor are quoted in writing.
What we cannot do from India
Ashish Sharma started Codingclave Development LLP in Lucknow in 2017 and still leads the work. We have no Perth office, no ABN and no staff in Australia, so there are no site visits or same-day meetings. Support runs on video calls, WhatsApp and email, and reply times for Perth mornings are written into your quote. Before you message, check the record: ★ 4.9 on Google (76 reviews), 200+ projects since 2017, Top Rated on Upwork, and projects you can open.
Got a Joondalup or Fremantle site that broke after an update, or a PHP 8.2 warning from your host? Book a November PHP check and we'll tell you which PHP version the site runs, or what access we'd need to find out.

WordPress websites for WA’s biggest industries
The WA figures below come from the state government's May 2026 economic profile. Beside each one: the pages and plugins that kind of WordPress site usually needs.
| Industry | WA figure (source: WA Economic Profile, May 2026) | What the WordPress site needs | Read next |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resources, engineering and mining services | Mining was 39% of GSP and 9.8% of jobs in 2024-25 | HSE and compliance pages, project galleries, FIFO careers, a tender document library | Custom software in Perth |
| Health and allied health | Largest contributor to real GSP growth in 2024-25, up 5.8% | Booking plugin, practitioner profiles, privacy-aware enquiry forms | Clinic websites and software |
| Trades and construction | Construction up 4.4% in 2024-25 | Service-area pages, quote forms, licence numbers on show | Tradie websites |
| Tourism and hospitality | Visitor spend of $19.2 billion in 2025 | Bookings, menus, an events calendar | Restaurant and cafe websites |
| Education and migration agents | 8.5% of Australia's international enrolments; $4.3 billion in education exports (2025) | Course catalogue, enquiry routing, pages in students' languages | Education and migration agents |
Running a clinic, a trade business or a mining-services firm? Tell us your industry and current URL and we'll list the pages and plugins your site needs before quoting. Venues taking orders at the counter can also look at our Perth restaurant POS.

Suburb pages on a Perth WordPress site: worth building, or doorway pages?
Lethal lists the suburbs it serves, which is harmless. Trouble starts with one WordPress page per suburb carrying the same text; a suburb page earns its place only when it tells a reader something your main service page can't.
Northern corridor: Joondalup, Wangara, Balcatta
Wangara and Balcatta are light-industrial areas. Build it when you have real job photos from Joondalup homes, or a Wangara counter with its own stock and opening hours. Skip it when the page is your Osborne Park page with the suburb name swapped.
Southern corridor: Rockingham, Cockburn, Canning Vale
Build it when travel time changes your quote, such as a different call-out fee for Rockingham. Skip it when price, service and photos match every other page.
Swan and Midland
Build it when you hold reviews from Midland or Swan customers that mention the job. Skip it when you've never worked there.
Business hubs: West Perth, Osborne Park, Subiaco, Fremantle, Welshpool and Kewdale
Subiaco has a hospital precinct, Fremantle a port and a hospitality strip, and Kewdale freight terminals. Build it when the service mix differs, such as a Fremantle venue page with menus and events, a Subiaco page for an allied health practice near the hospitals, or a Kewdale page with depot hours. Skip it when only the headline changes.
Google Business Profile, reviews and links matter as much as suburb pages; see our SEO services page. Suburb targeting in Google Ads can reach a suburb without a thin page. Trade businesses can start with tradie websites. Nobody can guarantee a ranking for a suburb page, and that includes us.
Got a list of suburbs you want pages for? Send the list and the service and we'll mark which ones would be thin.

No lock-in you can check: logins, licences and Perth WordPress hosting
One Perth agency's search result promises "no lock-in". Four records show whether any site lives up to that.
Four things that should carry your business name
- The Administrator user, tied to your email rather than the developer's.
- The domain registrant, which a WHOIS lookup shows.
- The hosting account, in your name and billed to your card.
- Premium plugin and theme licences, bought on your account so renewals stay with you.
Your developer works from a separate login you can delete.
Taking a site back from a Perth agency
Ask in writing for Administrator access, a full backup of files and database, and every licence key. Check the domain registrant before anything else. Restore the backup on staging, test forms and checkout, then switch DNS. The fuller explanation is in the ownership section of our Perth page, and takeovers of builder-heavy sites are covered in our takeover guide.
Choosing a host yourself
Look for backups stored away from the server, a staging copy, a control panel that switches PHP versions, and an account held in your name. Watts Your Website in Mount Hawthorn recommends VentraIP to its clients: one Perth developer's pick, not a ranking. If we host the site, your quote names the hosting region. More host checks are in our hosting guide for Australian visitors.
Want your site back from a Perth agency? Send the URL and we'll list exactly what to request from them.

WordPress in 2026: 40.1% of sites, the 7.1 branch, and what ChatGPT can’t do for a Perth site
The numbers this week
W3Techs shows WordPress on 40.1% of all websites and 58.6% of sites whose CMS it can identify, which is more than every other CMS combined. WordPress 7 ran on 64.7% of WordPress sites on 7 October 2026, and the current release on WordPress.org that day was 7.1.3. Inkjam, Distl and Loaded still quote 43%. A simple test: if you'll edit pages weekly and need bookings or a blog, WordPress fits; if the shop is the business, read the next item.
When Shopify suits a Perth store better
If the shop is the business, with a large catalogue or stock shared with a counter, a hosted platform takes updates and security off your hands. Our Perth Shopify page and Perth ecommerce page weigh the two for WA stores.
WooCommerce suits a Perth store when selling is one part of a content-heavy site, or when you already run WordPress and want to keep one login. The payment gateways for your checkout are named in your quote.
What AI can and can’t do
ChatGPT and similar tools can draft page copy, write a code snippet and suggest a layout. They can't own a live site: someone still has to test plugin updates on staging, lock down logins, set up backups and answer when a form stops sending at 8pm. For chatbots and automated workflows on top of WordPress, see AI automation in Perth.
Still deciding between WordPress and Shopify? Send your product count and current site and we'll say which suits the shop.
