Overview

Pages follow the NDIA district you serve, so support coordinators can see your capacity and registration status quickly and parents can see what a first visit involves. Every build is tested against WCAG 2.2 AA. You deal directly with founder Ashish Sharma by WhatsApp and video from Lucknow, India; there is no Sydney office.

Quick answer

What does an NDIS website cost in Sydney, and how long does it take?

Prices printed on Google's first page for Sydney ran from $750 to $5,000+ on 6 Oct 2026, with very different page counts behind them. Our provider sites are fixed at A$1,200–A$6,900, or from A$900 for a small WordPress build, and go live in 1–3 weeks. The page-one firms that state a build time give 6–12 or 6–10 weeks. Your NDIA district decides which pages come first.

  • North Sydney: 48.2% self-manage, so publish rates and invoicing
  • South Western Sydney: 15.9% agency-managed, so state registration
  • 53.0% of metro participants are 18 or under: write for parents
  • Languages chosen by council area from Census 2021

Who publishes NDIS website prices on Sydney’s page one

These are the firms selling NDIS sites that we could check in Google's results for "ndis website design sydney" on 6 Oct 2026, across organic listings, ads and the map. Four print a price. The Sydney-based specialists we found, DSIGNS, Medical Marketing Group and TheOnlineCo (a Norwest map listing), print none.

Stated build times differ just as much: 6–12 weeks at NDIS Website Designs and 6–10 weeks at Digital Nomads HQ, against our 1–3 weeks. Six NDIA districts, six different websites

The NDIA publishes participant, plan-management and provider figures by service district. Six districts make up metro Sydney, with 119,012 active participants at 30 June 2026, 51.6% of the NSW total of 230,427. How a district's families manage their plans tells you what they look for first.

Plan managers pay the invoices of 69,907 metro participants (58.7%), so every Sydney site needs a short "for plan managers" note: what invoices show, where they go, who to ask. The NDIA counted 4,771 registered providers paid in NSW that quarter (10,842 nationally); a provider appears in each district it serves, and unregistered providers aren't counted. If enquiries outrun you, WhatsApp or AI intake triage can sort them by district.

Pages Sydney NDIS sites usually leave out

None of the competitor pages we read covers these four, yet each answers something Sydney families, coordinators or job applicants ask early.

  • A page for support coordinators in each district

Make referral easy. Give each district you serve a short, dated page listing vacancies by support type, the days you have capacity and the quickest way to refer. When a coordinator can see what's open this week without phoning, you've removed a step between them and you.

  • A plain "registered or unregistered" statement

Agency-managed participants can only use registered providers. A registered NDIS provider in Sydney should say so on every service page, with its registration groups; an unregistered one should say it supports plan-managed and self-managed participants, so nobody discovers the mismatch at intake.

  • A careers page that explains NSW screening

Applicants want to know which checks they'll need. In NSW the NDIS Worker Check is run by the Office of the Children's Guardian, which also runs the Working With Children Check needed for child-facing roles. Link to the official guidance rather than restating fees or validity. Rostered staff who need more than a website can get a support-worker app, built separately.

  • Accessibility, in two or three sentences

Accessibility should be described, not just claimed: tested against WCAG 2.2 AA for keyboard use, screen readers, colour contrast and forms, and never "certified". Skip add-on toolbars, which sit on top of the code instead of fixing it. Criteria, logo rules and referral-form privacy are on our national NDIS providers page.

Most of Sydney’s participants are children, so write for parents

In the six metro districts, 63,066 participants (53.0%) were 18 or under at 30 June 2026, and 28,588 were aged 0–8. Autism is the primary disability for at least 50,410 (42.4%, a minimum because small counts are suppressed). Add the 454,470 Greater Sydney residents who gave unpaid care in the 2021 Census, and your reader is often a parent or carer, not the participant. UI/UX design in Sydney covers how parent-first layouts are planned.

  • An early childhood page

Write for a parent whose child aged 0–8 has just received a plan. Say who comes to the first visit, how long it runs, whether it happens at home, childcare or your rooms, and what to have ready. Name therapists by discipline, show the real rooms and give one clear way to book.

  • School-age and holiday programs

Participants aged 9–14 number 23,228 across the six districts, and those aged 15–18 another 11,250. List each after-school or holiday program's days, ages, staffing ratio, pick-up arrangements and how it's paid from a plan, and change the dates each term.

  • Waitlist honesty

If there's a wait, show it, for example "Speech therapy, Western Sydney: about six weeks (updated 1 October)". A dated figure lets parents and coordinators plan around you and earns more trust than "contact us for availability". If the list is closed, say when it reopens.

  • A page for carers

Tell a parent, partner or nominee what they can do without the participant present: ask questions, request a call-back or pass on a referral with consent. Say what you need in writing before sharing anything, and who to call if a worker misses a shift.

Which languages, and where: Census 2021 by Sydney council area

"A page for each language" gets expensive quickly. The 2021 Census shows which languages are spoken at home, council by council, so match a translation to where your participants live. Across Greater Sydney, 42.0% of households use a language other than English at home; Mandarin (5.0% of residents) and Arabic (4.2%) lead, but the mix shifts sharply between councils.

Translation isn't the only route. TIS National says eligible registered NDIS providers can access "funded interpreting services" to deliver the supports in a participant's plan, through a client code arranged with the NDIA, so put a "Need an interpreter?" line on the contact and referral pages.

We build the language pages; translation by a qualified human translator, checked by a native speaker, is supplied by you or arranged as a separate cost, confirmed in writing for your business before you sign. Refresh this table when 2026 Census results arrive, expected during 2027.

Suburb pages and your Google Business Profile across a city this size

Many supports in Sydney are delivered in homes, schools and the community, so a provider's search footprint is a service area, not a shopfront. Google's rules for that shape the website too.

  • Up to 20 service areas, about 2 hours’ drive

A Business Profile allows up to 20 service areas, set by city or postcode rather than radius, and Google says the whole area shouldn't stretch beyond about two hours' drive from your base. A provider visiting participants runs one profile for its central office, with a service area attached.

  • Virtual offices don’t qualify

Google treats virtual offices as ineligible; a co-working space counts only with clear signage and staff on site during opening hours.

  • One real page per district or cluster

Write one page per district or cluster you cover, naming the workers based there, the supports, how far you travel and current openings. For a south-west provider, a single Fairfield and Liverpool page with this month's openings is more use to a parent than separate Cabramatta, Canley Vale and Fairfield Heights pages repeating each other.

  • A planning check for Parramatta-based providers

The ABS places Greater Sydney's centre of population near the Parramatta River at Rosehill (June 2025 estimates). If you're based around Parramatta, check whether your travel range takes in both Western Sydney and South Western Sydney districts; if it does, give each its own page.

The search work itself sits on our Sydney SEO page, and paid enquiries on Google Ads in Sydney. Nobody, us included, can promise you rankings or a set number of referrals from Google. Working across states? See our Melbourne and Brisbane NDIS pages.

A provider’s week, on our clock

Provider days go to participants, rosters and travel, so website work tends to happen once the shifts are done. We're online 3:30pm–12:30am AEDT, Monday to Saturday, until daylight saving ends on 4 Apr 2027. That gives a 1.5-hour overlap with a 9-to-5 day (3:30–5pm), then a long evening in which you can review and we can act.

  • You, between visits

Send WhatsApp voice notes from the car: a flyer photo, new hours, a support you've added. Open the staging link once your roster is done. Anything that needs a conversation fits a video call from 3:30 to 5pm, or later in the evening.

  • Us, while you’re off the roster

Your notes are worked through during our day, which is your afternoon and evening. Smaller edits are often ready on staging when your next day starts. We launch late in the Sydney evening, so a referral form isn't offline while coordinators are making calls.

When Sydney returns to AEST on 4 Apr 2027, our day shifts to 2:30–11:30pm and the overlap becomes 2.5 hours. Turnaround dates for your project go into the written scope rather than being promised in a chat.

What we can show you, and when a Sydney agency suits you better

Here's what you can check before spending anything, and the cases where we're the wrong pick.

  • What you can check before signing

A written scope listing every page, language and form, with the page count, Google Business Profile set-up and post-launch support period spelled out and confirmed in writing for your business before you sign. Domain, hosting and Business Profile in your name, a staging link before launch, and code and content handed over as set out in your signed scope. Ask anyone you compare for the same list. Data handling is in our national page's privacy section.

  • Proof you can look up

None of our published work is an NDIS site, from Sydney or anywhere, and we won't dress other projects up as one. What can be checked: ★ 4.9 on Google (76 reviews), 200+ projects since 2017, Top Rated on Upwork and founder-led delivery, with Ashish Sharma running the work. Read the reviews and browse our work.

  • When a Sydney agency is the better choice

    • You want face-to-face meetings. We work by video and WhatsApp only.
    • You want a supplier you can visit. DSIGNS has a Parramatta office, and TheOnlineCo (Norwest) showed in the map results for this search.
    • You need a site live this week. Our builds take 1–3 weeks; what you get for the wait is pages written for your district rather than a template.

10of 10

Three NDIS searches that aren’t about websites

  • "NDIS design standards"

Usually the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Design Standard, which covers how SDA housing is built. For a website, the benchmark is WCAG 2.2 AA.

  • "NDIS website price guide"

Searchers usually want the NDIA's Pricing Arrangements, which set price limits for supports. They change regularly, so read the current version on ndis.gov.au.

  • NDIS, NDIA or NDIS Commission?

The NDIS is the scheme. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) runs it: plans, participant data and payments. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission regulates providers, including registration and complaints.

How it works

From first WhatsApp to a live Sydney site

Start on WhatsApp
  1. WhatsApp brief

Send your district or suburbs, the supports you offer, whether you're registered, your current URL (or "no site yet") and any care software; our national page compares the common platforms. Voice notes are fine.

  2. Written scope and fixed AUD quote

Page list, languages, forms, page count and one fixed figure, set down in writing. Payment terms are confirmed in writing for your business before you sign.

  3. Design and staging, reviewed when shifts end

A staging link you can open from home in the evening. Mark up anything on WhatsApp; your comments are picked up in our working evening and the edits follow on staging.

  4. Launch into accounts in your name

Domain, hosting and Google Business Profile in your name from day one. Launch moves the site onto them and hands over every login.

  5. Optional care plan

Monthly hosting, backups, updates and vacancy refreshes from the hosting-support band, with a quarterly NDIA data check available as an add-on.

How much does an NDIS website cost in Sydney?

On 6 Oct 2026, Google's first page for Sydney showed NDIS website prices from $750 (TD Interactives, in an ad) to $5,000+ plus GST (2Brownies' custom tier), with very different inclusions. DSIGNS, Medical Marketing Group and TheOnlineCo, all Sydney-based, publish no price. Our business-website band is A$1,200–A$6,900, or A$900–A$4,300 for a small WordPress site, fixed once scoped. General business websites are covered on our Sydney city page.

How long does an NDIS website take to build for a Sydney provider?

Our full provider sites take 1–3 weeks and a small WordPress site 1–2 weeks; how quickly your content and approvals arrive sets the pace. On the 6 Oct 2026 results page, NDIS Website Designs stated 6–12 weeks from contract and Digital Nomads HQ 6–10 weeks. A participant intake portal is bigger work, usually 6–12 weeks, and is scoped separately.

How much does it cost to set up an NDIS business in NSW?

There's no single figure, because it depends on your supports and whether you register. Budget for these categories: a registration audit if you register (its scope depends on your registration groups), insurance, an NDIS Worker Check for each worker through the Office of the Children's Guardian, rostering and invoicing software, and a website. Check the NDIS Commission's current guidance for registration costs. The website is the only item we price.

Who is the biggest NDIS provider in Australia, and how many are there?

No public ranking by size exists, and NDIA data can't produce one. It counts registered providers paid for agency-managed participants each quarter: 10,842 nationally and 4,771 in NSW for April–June 2026, with 2,222 in South Western Sydney, the highest of any Sydney district. Providers serving several districts appear in each, and unregistered providers are excluded, so the figures can't be totalled or ranked.

Do I need a separate page for every Sydney suburb I service?

No. Near-identical suburb pages read as doorway pages. One real page per district or cluster, such as Parramatta and Blacktown in Western Sydney, naming the workers based there, supports, travel and openings, serves parents better. On Google Business Profile, a home-visit provider sets up to 20 service areas by city or postcode, within about two hours' drive.

Which languages should my Sydney NDIS website use?

Choose by council area. Census 2021 puts Vietnamese first among non-English home languages in Fairfield, Arabic in Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland and Liverpool, Mandarin in Parramatta and Hornsby, and Punjabi in Blacktown. In Penrith, plain English comes first. Add a "Need an interpreter?" line too, since eligible registered providers can use TIS National's funded interpreting.

Can I put "NDIS" in my Sydney business name or domain?

Be careful. The NDIA's logo and wording guidelines, summarised on our national NDIS providers page, list "NDIS" in a business, trading or domain name as a misleading suggestion of affiliation. Get advice before you register a name or rebrand. If you're already using one, a rename becomes a planned move to a new domain, with every old page redirected and your listings updated.

Who sees participant details sent through my Sydney website's forms?

You should, not your developer. The written scope sets out where each referral or intake form sends its data and where the site is hosted; the hosting region is confirmed in writing for your business before you sign. Forms ask only for what you need before a first call, with consent wording on the form, and the domain, hosting and logins are in your name. Our national NDIS providers page covers referral-form privacy in more depth.
