Of the eight providers ranking for this search, only one prints a full price list, and it rents automations at A$110–A$330 a week. Quick answer
What does an AI automation agency in Sydney cost, and who owns the build?
You can rent an automation in Sydney from A$110 a week inc. GST, or pay once for a build you own. AI Automation Agency's rented workflows stay its IP and are switched off when you cancel unless you pay a buyout. Ential's Sydney FAQ puts first builds in the low five figures, Aivy says 'from a few thousand dollars', Infraworx says simple flows 'may start from a few hundred dollars per month', and four others print no figure. Codingclave quotes one fixed price, A$1,950–A$23,500, with no GST added (we're an overseas supplier; ask your accountant about reverse charge), in a workspace registered to your business.
- AI Automation Agency's terms: A$1,990 buyout per automation in year one, A$990 after
- Its weekly fee includes hosting and API costs; owned builds pay those to each provider
- Ential sells a A$7,500 + GST diagnosis for teams of up to 15
- Live calls 3:30–5:00pm AEDT; drafts ready for review each Sydney morning

Eight providers ranking for ‘AI automation agency Sydney’: base, price, ownership, reviews (6 Oct 2026)
We searched Google.com.au for this phrase on 6 October 2026 and read the page each provider ranks with, organic or map pack; every cell comes from that page or its Google listing. Page one has no neutral roundup: the only list there, Team 400's, ranks Team 400 first.
| Provider | Base per its own site | Published price | Who holds the build if you leave | Time to first workflow | Review evidence seen 6 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infraworx | 122 Arthur St, North Sydney | 'May start from a few hundred dollars per month'; larger work scoped | Not stated | 'A few weeks' for a first automation | None on the service page |
| AI Lab Australia | 333 George St, Sydney | None | Not stated | Not stated | None on the page |
| AI Automation Agency (Dictate Digital) | No head office stated; terms governed by Queensland law | A$110 / A$220 / A$330 a week inc. GST; A$110 audit, refunded if you sign on the call | Agency: workflows 'remain the exclusive IP'; buyout A$1,990 per automation in year one, A$990 after | Not stated | Testimonial cards; we found no Google rating stated |
| Team 400 | Brisbane HQ; also lists Sydney and Melbourne | None | Not stated | Proof of concept 2–4 weeks, production 6–12 | Its own list ranks Team 400 #1 |
| Aivy | Kensington VIC; works with Sydney 'remotely by default' | 'From a few thousand dollars' | 'You keep what we build'; runbooks and docs at handover | Pilot 4–6 weeks | Names Privacy Act, AHPRA and APRA rules; no rating seen |
| Hello Juno | 'Sydney, Australia', no street | None ('depends on complexity') | Not stated | 1–2 weeks; 3–4 if complex | 'Rated 5.0 on Google · 20+ reviews' |
| Ential | Brisbane street address | 'Low 5 figures' (Sydney page FAQ); A$7,500 + GST Deep Dive | 'Full IP ownership' | Not stated | Site shows 5.0 (35+); map listing 5.0 from 6 |
| AI Automation Company | Level 5, 84 Pitt St, Sydney | 'Pricing on request'; platforms and AI billed separately | 'You do': accounts, keys, n8n, workflows | Not stated | Site shows a 4.9 Google rating; its map listing showed no reviews |
| Codingclave (us) | Lucknow, India; no Sydney office | A$1,950–A$23,500, fixed; no GST added (overseas supplier) | Your business, from day one; JSON exports and a runbook at handover | 2–6 weeks | ★ 4.9 on Google (76 reviews) |
Prices. One provider publishes a full price list, and it is a rental. 'A few hundred dollars per month' only means something once it becomes a written quote.
Reviews. Open each Google profile and read what the reviews describe; five stars for web design say little about an automation build. Apply the same test to our ★ 4.9 and ask which projects involved automation.
Australia-wide figures are in our national agency price table, beside the three-year rent-or-own sums.

Payback at NSW wages: A$55.49 an hour, five hours a week
Average weekly ordinary-time earnings for full-time adults in NSW were A$2,108.80 in May 2026 (ABS): about A$55.49 an hour over 38 hours, before super and on-costs. Five hours saved each week is worth about A$277, or roughly A$1,200 a month, so our A$1,950 floor repays in about 7 weeks, before platform and AI usage fees.
| Hours saved a week | Weekly value | Weeks to repay A$1,950 | Weeks to repay A$23,500 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | about A$1,110 | about 2 | about 21 |
| 10 | about A$555 | about 3.5 | about 42 |
| 5 | about A$277 | about 7 | about 85 |
| 2 | about A$111 | about 18 | about 212 (roughly 4 years) |
Your line: hours saved a week × A$55.49 = weekly value; fixed quote ÷ weekly value = weeks to repay. For professional staff, the national professional-services figure of A$2,389.60 a week (about A$62.88 an hour) repays the floor in about 6 weeks at 5 hours.
Sydney is often called the country's most expensive payroll, yet on the same ABS release NSW comes third, behind the ACT (A$2,290.20) and WA (A$2,227.40). Arithmetic, not a guarantee. WhatsApp the task and its weekly hours for a fixed price beside your own figure.

When you stop paying: Sydney agencies’ exit terms and five questions to ask before you sign
AI Automation Agency's terms say its workflows remain its 'exclusive IP' and are deactivated on cancellation unless you buy them out: A$1,990 per automation in the first 12 months, A$990 after (A$3,990 and A$2,200 for custom-tier builds). Its FAQ adds that leaving inside year one means paying the rest of that year's plan plus the fee, which sits awkwardly beside its 'zero lock-in' policy. AI Automation Company answers 'You do', Ential promises 'Full IP ownership' and Aivy says 'you keep what we build'. The other four are silent.
With us, the workspace, keys and connections are in your business name from day one, and handover brings a JSON export of every workflow plus a runbook. Put these five questions to anyone on your shortlist, and keep the answers in writing.
Whose email and card sit on the workspace and the AI billing?
Your business's. If the agency's email holds the n8n, Make or Zapier workspace, the agency holds the off switch. A good answer names the account holder in the written scope.
If I leave in month seven, what do I get, and what is the fee?
Ask for one number. AI Automation Agency gives two readings: its terms set a A$1,990 buyout for an automation under 12 months old, while its FAQ says to pay out the first year's plan plus the fee, roughly 26 more weeks (A$2,860) on the A$110 tier after month six. Leaving a build you own should cost nothing.
Can I export every workflow as a file today?
Ask for one export before you sign. If the provider can't send it, you are renting the flow, whatever the contract says.
Which region holds the data, and is it in the contract?
'Australian-hosted' on a web page isn't a contract term. Ask for the hosting provider, the region and the AI endpoint to be named in the agreement.
Who gets the failure alert, and what is covered after handover, for how long?
Someone at your firm should get it the same day. Get the support scope, period and price on paper. Ours is optional at A$80–A$240 a month, with the period spelt out in your quote.
Send us the exit clause from a Sydney proposal and we'll show what leaving would cost, beside a fixed AUD price for the same scope.
Have a project in mind?
Send a few lines on WhatsApp or get a fixed AUD quote.

Who is actually in Sydney? Three name interstate head offices, and a fourth’s terms run under Queensland law
Ential gives a Brisbane street address, Team 400 calls Brisbane its HQ while also listing Sydney and Melbourne, and Aivy is headquartered in Melbourne and serves Sydney remotely by default. AI Automation Agency names no head office, and its terms are governed by Queensland law. Infraworx, AI Lab Australia and AI Automation Company give Sydney street addresses; Hello Juno gives 'Sydney, Australia' and no street. Ranking in a Sydney search doesn't make a provider a Sydney builder, so ask who builds your flow and when you can reach them.
Where we stand. Codingclave has no Sydney office, no staff in Australia and no Australian ABN or company, so there are no in-person meetings. Delivery is founder-led; Ashish Sharma set the firm up in Lucknow in 2017. Scoping, reviews and handover run over WhatsApp, video and email. If you searched 'AI automation agency in India' to weigh that route, you trade face-to-face meetings and a long live window for a fixed AUD price and evening availability. Contract and support terms are in hiring an automation team in India; working hours are on our Sydney page.

Greater Sydney’s 646,600 businesses by hub, and a first automation for each
Greater Sydney had about 646,600 actively trading businesses in June 2025: about 248,000 employing, and about 63,100 with 5–199 staff (approximate sums of ABS SA2 counts; the region includes the Central Coast). The largest groups are construction (107,078), professional services (103,088), health care (49,532) and finance (43,711). NSW reached 942,658 businesses at 30 June 2026, the biggest net rise of any state or territory that year (26,057).
CBD counts run high because many firms register there, and Parramatta stands in for Western Sydney. Each row follows the pattern some agencies sell as an 'AI agent': the AI step reads, sorts or drafts, then stops at a person who approves.
| Hub (ABS SA2) | Businesses (total / employing) | Example firm | First automation worth pricing | Apps it touches | Ask us |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sydney CBD (Sydney (North)–Millers Point) | 43,144 / 15,014 (4,711 professional-services and 3,483 finance employers) | Law or accounting | New-matter web form to a draft LEAP or Actionstep matter, conflict-check fields filled for a lawyer to confirm | LEAP or Actionstep, Outlook | WhatsApp this |
| North Sydney–Lavender Bay | 6,549 / 2,772 | Accounting, broking | Missing-document chaser for tax or loan files, on wording you approve once, stopping when the file lands | Xero Practice Manager or broker CRM, email, SMS | WhatsApp this |
| Norwest (Baulkham Hills (West)–Bella Vista) | 6,436 / 2,710 | Trades, construction | Subcontractor insurance and licence expiry tracker that drafts each reminder for a site manager to send | simPRO or AroFlo, Google Sheets | WhatsApp this |
| Parramatta–North | 4,191 / 1,791 | Professional services, trades | Quote follow-ups on approved wording, pausing when the client replies | AroFlo or simPRO, Gmail | WhatsApp this |
| Chatswood–East | 5,894 / 2,450 | Allied health | GP referral letters filed to the right Cliniko patient, with a summary held for the practitioner to approve | Cliniko, email | WhatsApp this |
| Surry Hills | 5,892 / 2,626 | Agencies, studios | Monthly client report drafted from GA4 and ads data for an account manager to edit | GA4, Google Ads, Google Docs | WhatsApp this |
| Freshwater–Brookvale | 4,391 / 1,972 | Light industry, e-commerce | Order exceptions (failed address, out of stock) routed to a person before the 3PL picks | Shopify, 3PL portal, Slack | WhatsApp this |
| Erskineville–Alexandria | 3,588 / 1,560 | Warehousing, online retail | Morning summary of low stock and supplier ETAs read from email; the buyer approves any reorder | Shopify, Google Sheets | WhatsApp this |
A flow spanning several systems is usually custom software for a Sydney firm. Brookvale and Alexandria sellers may also want ecommerce websites in Sydney or Shopify development. See too allied health clinic software, systems for tradies, six more worked examples and the five-question check.

Keeping a Sydney firm’s data onshore: Bedrock ‘au.’ profiles, n8n in SYD1, and what to get in writing
Two parts of a flow touch your data: the AI model that reads or drafts, and the engine that runs the steps. Both can stay onshore.
The AI step: Bedrock’s ‘au.’ geo profiles
Claude models on Amazon Bedrock can be called through an 'au.' geo inference profile. On the AWS model card we checked on 6 October 2026, a call from Sydney (ap-southeast-2) routes only to Sydney and Melbourne. AWS notes this crosses Regions, so it isn't single-Region residency, and model versions retire on a schedule, so the exact model and profile belong in the written scope.
The engine: self-hosted n8n in Sydney
n8n can be self-hosted on AWS in Sydney or in DigitalOcean's SYD1 datacentre, which offers Droplets, backups and managed databases. n8n's own cloud stores data in Frankfurt; see our platform comparison.
What to get in writing
Have the hosting provider, region and AI endpoint named in the agreement. Infraworx credits self-hosting for 'your data never leaves your infrastructure'; ask it for the region in writing anyway. On our builds, the region is agreed per project and written into the scope.

NSW strata rules that create repeat admin: hardship statements, payment plans, committee training
NSW Fair Trading's strata changes add paperwork that comes round with every levy run and every committee appointment. A flow can prepare each item below, and nothing goes out until the strata manager approves it.
| Rule | From | What repeats | Automation, and who approves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Levy notices include the Financial Hardship Information Statement | 27 Oct 2025 | Every notice, every levy run | Attach the statement to each notice and flag any gaps; the manager releases the batch |
| Payment plans for overdue levies use a standard form | 27 Oct 2025 | Each owner in arrears | Draft the plan letter on the form from the arrears ledger, for the manager to send |
| Committee members finish free online training each year, within 3 months of appointment | 1 Oct 2026 | One due date per member | Track each deadline from the appointment date and draft reminders for approval |
| Two-lot schemes are exempt from Strata Hub annual reporting | 1 Oct 2026 | A filter on reporting lists | Drop two-lot schemes from annual-report reminders |
General information, not legal advice. Arrears flows handle personal information; for the 10 December 2026 automated-decision rule, see our national privacy section. Offices that also sell and lease can see software for real estate agencies.

How a build runs on Sydney time: 3:30–5:00pm AEDT live, drafts waiting in the morning
A Sydney 9-to-5 and our working day share 3:30–5:00pm AEDT while NSW is on daylight saving. Our day then carries on until 12:30am, Monday to Saturday. The full hour grid is on our Sydney page.
Live calls, 3:30–5:00pm AEDT
Scoping, reviews and go-live decisions happen here, Saturdays included. After NSW clocks go back on 4 April 2027, the window widens to 2:30–5:00pm AEST.
Built in your evening, reviewed next morning
During the parallel run, the flow's drafts are ready when Sydney starts work. Your reviewer marks them, and fixes go into the next working session.
Alerts go to your person
Failure alerts go to a named person at your firm, not to us, so an expired login is noticed hours before we're online.
Working alongside your Sydney MSP
Your IT provider keeps the network and Microsoft 365 admin. We need scoped API access to the apps in the flow, nothing broader, which your MSP can revoke. If Power Automate in your tenant already covers a simple flow, we'll say so.

‘AI companies in Sydney’: four kinds of business the search mixes together
AI product companies
They sell ready-made tools, such as AI note-takers or receptionist apps, by subscription. Quick to trial, but nobody maps your workflow.
Big 4 and enterprise consultancies
The kind on Team 400's list: KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture and PwC. Built for large-organisation strategy, at a scale a 20-person firm rarely needs.
Boutique automation agencies, in Sydney or interstate
The eight compared above. Prices, exit terms and review evidence vary widely; get all three in writing.
Offshore builders
Teams like ours: fixed scope, remote delivery, a short live window and evening availability. Best for a defined task with a named approver.
Have a defined task and someone to approve it? WhatsApp it to us for a fixed AUD price.

Fixed AUD prices for Sydney automation work
Send the scope and one fixed quote comes back: no hourly rate and no rental. Support afterwards is optional, from A$80 a month. n8n, Make or Zapier plans and AI usage are billed to you by each provider; in our national worked example, one flow handling about 173 supplier bills a month needs a plan of roughly A$14–A$57 a month, with AI usage around a dollar. We don't build phone voice agents (where our chatbot work stops), but if you already use a receptionist tool we can take over after each call: logging it in your CRM, opening the job and drafting a reply your staff sign off.
