AiSensy Pricing India 2026: Real Monthly Bill & Markup
Founder & Lead Developer, Codingclave · 200+ projects since 2017
AiSensy pricing in 2026: the short answer
AiSensy pricing in 2026 comes down to one formula: plan fee + 18% GST + a per-message charge for every template you send + any add-ons. For most small Indian businesses that real bill lands between ₹2,500 and ₹10,000 a month.
Quick answer:
- Plans: Forever Free ₹0, Basic ₹1,500/month (₹1,350 billed yearly), Pro ₹3,200/month (₹2,880 billed yearly), Enterprise custom. GST is extra.
- Messages (India): marketing ₹1.09, utility and authentication ₹0.145. Marketing is about ₹0.23 (26%) above Meta's rate. Replies to customers stop being free on 1 October 2026, when Meta starts charging them at the utility rate.
- Team: 1 owner and 5 agents on paid plans; each extra agent is ₹750/month.
- Real bill before GST: about ₹2,660 a month at 1,500 messages, ₹7,240-₹9,740 at 7,000, and ₹36,650 at 35,000 with Pro and add-ons.
- Seen ₹999 or ₹2,399? Those are pre-July-2025 prices that only older renewals kept.
I'm Ashish Sharma, founder of Codingclave. We set up WhatsApp Business API accounts and run our own no-subscription platform, PayPerWA, so I have a stake here; every calculation is shown so you can check it. For features rather than price, see our WATI vs Interakt vs AiSensy comparison. For WATI's bill, see our WATI pricing audit.

Last verified: September 2026, against AiSensy's pricing page and help centre (see Sources). Enterprise is a custom quote. Chatbot flows are a paid add-on on every plan, and one set of message rates applies to all plans.
What does each AiSensy plan include?
Forever Free: what you can and can't do
Per AiSensy's help centre, Forever Free has no time limit and includes one agent, WhatsApp API access, the application for Meta's verified badge, Click-to-WhatsApp ads with ₹500 in ad credits, ₹50 in conversation credits, template creation, unlimited service conversations and live chat. Tags are capped at 10 and custom attributes at 5.
Broadcasting and retargeting are not available, so treat it as a setup and inbound-lead tool. Our guide to Click-to-WhatsApp ad costs in India covers the ad budget.
Does the verified badge cost extra? Meta's verified badge, formerly the green tick and now shown in blue, can be applied for even on Forever Free, and I found no AiSensy fee for it. Approval is Meta's decision and is not guaranteed.
Basic: ₹1,500/month or ₹1,350/month billed yearly
- With GST: ₹1,770/month, or ₹19,116 for a year upfront.
- Team: 1 owner and 5 agents or managers.
- Segmentation: 10 tags and 5 custom attributes.
- Not included: chatbot flows, click tracking and retargeting, the broadcast scheduler, automatic retries, the CSV campaign scheduler and Project APIs.
Basic fits a shop, clinic or coaching centre sending a few campaigns a month to one list. In the setups I've worked on, tags are the first limit a growing team hits: tag by city, product interest, lead source and status, and ten go quickly.
Pro: ₹3,200/month or ₹2,880/month billed yearly
Pro costs ₹3,776/month with GST, or ₹40,781 with GST for a year upfront. CampaignHQ reports a 14-day free trial; confirm it when you sign up. According to AiSensy's Basic vs Pro guide and help centre, Pro adds:
- Click tracking and retargeting of people who clicked
- A broadcast scheduler up to 2 months ahead
- Automatic retry of failed messages, up to 3 times
- A CSV campaign scheduler
- Project APIs, for connecting your CRM, website or app
- 100 tags and 20 custom attributes
Pay the extra ₹1,700 if you retarget clickers, segment more than ten ways or need the API; skip it for occasional offers to one list. Retries improve reach, not cost, since only delivered messages are billed.
Enterprise: custom pricing
No public prices. It becomes worth a call when volume, seat count or a support SLA outgrows Pro: at 50,000 marketing messages a month the markup over Meta is about ₹11,500, over three times the Pro fee. Ask for a lower per-message rate, Meta's volume tiers passed through, and a seat bundle.
Why you still see ₹999 and ₹2,399 online
AiSensy changed its prices in a pricing update effective 1 July 2025. Plans renewed before that date kept their old rates; any renewal or upgrade after it moves to current prices. The ₹999 and ₹2,399 figures date from before the change.
No new buyer gets them in 2026. If you see these figures quoted elsewhere, including on older pages of our own site, treat them as outdated.
Does AiSensy charge a markup on Meta's WhatsApp rates?
Yes. Since 1 July 2025, Meta bills per delivered template message rather than per 24-hour conversation, and AiSensy resells at its own per-message rates. Older articles quoting "per conversation" prices describe the previous model.
| Message type (India) | Meta base | AiSensy | Markup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing | about ₹0.86 | ₹1.09 | about ₹0.23 (26%) |
| Utility / authentication | about ₹0.115-₹0.13 | ₹0.145 | ₹0.015-₹0.03 (12-26%) |
| Service (replies) | Free to 30 Sep 2026; utility rate from 1 Oct | Ask AiSensy | not published |
Last verified: September 2026. AiSensy rates are from AiSensy's pricing page, per delivered message. Meta publishes India rates in a downloadable rate card linked from its pricing documentation; the base figures here (₹0.8631 marketing, ₹0.115 utility) are commonly cited by third parties, so confirm them there.
In rupees, the marketing markup is about ₹230 a month at 1,000 messages, ₹1,150 at 5,000, ₹5,750 at 25,000 and ₹11,500 at 50,000. At low volume the plan fee dominates your bill; past roughly 6,500 marketing messages a month (₹1,500 ÷ ₹0.23), the markup costs more than the Basic plan itself.
Which messages are still free after 1 October 2026
Meta's non-template pricing page (linked from its pricing documentation) changes the rules from 1 October 2026, for AiSensy and every other provider:
- Service replies: free until 30 September 2026; from 1 October charged at the utility rate, about ₹0.115 in India before any AiSensy margin. AiSensy's pricing page doesn't yet show its own rate for them, so ask.
- Utility inside the window: an order update sent while a customer-service window is open is now charged too.
- Marketing and authentication: always charged outside the ad window below, so budget for every one.
Replies are still far cheaper than templates: 3,000 a month adds roughly ₹345 at Meta's rate. For how other providers handle the change, see our Gallabox pricing audit, which documents a 1,000-reply free allowance.
Click-to-WhatsApp ads: the 72-hour free window
Per Meta's pricing documentation, when someone messages you from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad or a Facebook Page call-to-action button and you reply within 24 hours, Meta opens a 72-hour free entry point window. Every message you send in that window, marketing templates included, is free.
That is why Forever Free plus ads works for lead generation: you pay for the ad, not the follow-up messages.
Prepaid wallet, ₹10 minimum and GST on credits
Billing is prepaid only, with a ₹10 minimum wallet balance. The pricing page doesn't say whether ₹1.09 and ₹0.145 include GST; if they don't, marketing effectively costs about ₹1.29. Check your first top-up invoice.
Meta's India volume tiers cut utility and authentication rates as monthly volume grows, but AiSensy shows a flat ₹0.145; high-volume OTP senders should ask whether those discounts reach them.
Add-ons that change the AiSensy bill
- Chatbot Flows: ₹2,500/month + GST for the first 5 flows (₹2,250 billed yearly), then another ₹2,500 for each further block of 10. The builder is drag-and-drop with AI flow generation.
- WhatsApp AI Agent Builder: ₹1,350/month (₹1,215 yearly) for 1,000 AI messages, with a knowledge base, user memory and 500 free test messages. That is ₹1.35 per AI reply; ask what happens after message 1,000.
- Extra agents: ₹750 per agent per month beyond the owner plus 5.
- Indian Virtual Number: listed as "₹2,000 + GST per year" and "₹299 per quarter". The two don't reconcile (₹299 a quarter is ₹1,196 a year), so ask which applies.
- Verified-badge application: no AiSensy fee found.
The sixth flow opens a new ₹2,500 block, so fifteen flows cost ₹5,000 a month. Most small businesses need three to five.
The flows price doesn't say whether a Shopify or website connection is included, and Project APIs are Pro-only, so ask before assuming Basic will talk to your store.
Real AiSensy monthly cost at 3 volumes
Assumptions: Indian recipients, published rates, monthly billing, every utility message sent outside a service window. PayPerWA (our product) is ₹0.20 per message plus Meta's charges of ₹0.86 marketing and ₹0.13 utility, so ₹1.06 and ₹0.33. Both columns are compared before GST, since any applicable GST applies to both.
Small: 1,000 marketing + 500 utility messages
A salon or coaching centre with two or three people on WhatsApp and no chatbot.
| Line item | AiSensy Basic | PayPerWA (ours) |
|---|---|---|
| Plan fee | ₹1,500 | ₹0 |
| 1,000 marketing | ₹1,090 (× ₹1.09) | ₹1,060 (× ₹1.06) |
| 500 utility | ₹72.50 (× ₹0.145) | ₹165 (× ₹0.33) |
| Subtotal before GST | ₹2,662.50 | ₹1,225 |
GST on AiSensy's plan fee adds ₹270. The plan fee is 56% of this bill (about ₹1.78 per message); the markup over Meta is about ₹240.
Mid: 5,000 marketing + 2,000 utility messages
A multi-branch coaching institute or a non-Shopify D2C brand with up to six people in the inbox. First, the AiSensy options:
| Line item | Basic | Basic + 5 flows |
|---|---|---|
| Plan fee | ₹1,500 | ₹1,500 |
| 5,000 marketing | ₹5,450 | ₹5,450 |
| 2,000 utility | ₹290 | ₹290 |
| Chatbot flows | none | ₹2,500 |
| Subtotal before GST | ₹7,240 | ₹9,740 |
| GST on plan + add-ons | ₹270 | ₹720 |
| Total with that GST | ₹7,510 | ₹10,460 |
Pro instead of Basic makes it ₹8,940 before GST (₹9,516 with GST on the plan), or ₹11,440 with five flows. Now against PayPerWA:
| Line item | AiSensy Basic | PayPerWA (ours) |
|---|---|---|
| Messages | ₹5,740 | ₹5,960 (₹5,300 + ₹660) |
| Plan fee | ₹1,500 | ₹0 |
| Subtotal before GST | ₹7,240 | ₹5,960 |
AiSensy's markup here is about ₹1,150 on marketing plus ₹30-₹60 on utility.
High: 25,000 marketing + 10,000 utility, 8 agents, chatbot
A multi-city retailer running weekly campaigns, with an owner plus 8 agents.
| Line item | AiSensy Pro | PayPerWA (ours) |
|---|---|---|
| Plan fee | ₹3,200 | ₹0 |
| 25,000 marketing | ₹27,250 | ₹26,500 |
| 10,000 utility | ₹1,450 | ₹3,300 |
| 5 chatbot flows | ₹2,500 | no separate fee |
| 3 extra agents (× ₹750) | ₹2,250 | no separate fee |
| Subtotal before GST | ₹36,650 | ₹29,800 |
GST on AiSensy's plan and add-ons adds ₹1,431, taking it to ₹38,081; if GST also applies to its message rates, add another ₹5,166. About ₹5,750 of the AiSensy bill is markup on marketing (25,000 × ₹0.23), plus ₹150-₹300 on utility: ₹70,800-₹72,600 a year. PayPerWA, on the other hand, pays ₹1,850 more on utility here.
Staying on AiSensy or thinking of moving? Send your monthly marketing and utility counts to Ashish on WhatsApp (+91 92771 84741) and I'll lay your AiSensy bill beside a pay-per-use one, line by line. If AiSensy comes out cheaper for your mix, I'll say so.
Ask AiSensy these questions before you pay
- Is GST charged on wallet credits, or only on the plan fee? It moves the high scenario by ₹5,166 a month.
- Are Meta's India volume tiers for utility and authentication passed on, or is ₹0.145 flat at any volume?
- What happens after AI Agent message 1,000: a per-message overage, a hard stop, or an upgrade prompt?
- Which virtual-number price applies: ₹2,000 a year or ₹299 a quarter?
- Is unused wallet balance refundable if I leave, and do credits expire? The pricing page doesn't say.
- Does my plan include a Shopify or website integration, or do I need Pro's Project APIs?
- Can I export contacts, tags and flows if I leave?
- If I'm on a legacy ₹999 plan, what will I pay at renewal?
What leaving AiSensy involves
It costs time more than money. Export contacts, tags and attributes as CSV, then move your number through Meta's migration process, which needs verification on the number. Ask the new provider whether approved templates carry over, and expect to rebuild chatbot flows unless AiSensy confirms an export.
Monthly or yearly: which AiSensy billing should you pick?
A year of Basic (₹16,200) equals 10.8 months at ₹1,500, so yearly wins if you stay 11 months or more. It saves ₹1,800 on Basic, ₹3,840 on Pro, ₹3,000 on the first chatbot block and ₹1,620 on the AI Agent.
The discount only touches fixed fees. In the mid scenario with flows, yearly saves ₹400 a month, about 4% of the bill. In the high scenario it saves ₹570, about 1.6%.
My advice: stay monthly for two or three months until volume and flow count settle.
WATI vs AiSensy pricing: which costs less?
| AiSensy | WATI | |
|---|---|---|
| Starter option | Forever Free (₹0) | Pay ₹999, get ₹999 back as message credits |
| Entry plan | Basic ₹1,500/mo + GST | Growth ₹2,199/mo billed annually, ₹2,999 monthly |
| Users on entry plan | Owner + 5 agents | 3 users, no extra seats |
| Mid plan | Pro ₹3,200/mo | Pro ₹4,899/mo annually, ₹6,499 monthly; 5 users |
| Extra users | ₹750/month | ₹1,299/month (Pro), ₹2,199 (Business) |
| Marketing message | ₹1.09, published | Per WATI's rate card |
WATI's INR figures above are from a browser check of WATI's pricing page from India on 30 September 2026. WATI shows different prices by visitor location, and older articles (including CampaignHQ's July 2026 comparison) list lower figures, so confirm on the page before you budget.
For a team of six, AiSensy Basic covers everyone for ₹1,500; WATI Growth covers three. For features, and for AiSensy vs Interakt, see the three-way comparison. If your developers are pushing for an API-first provider instead, our WATI vs Gupshup breakdown covers that trade-off.
AiSensy vs DoubleTick pricing
DoubleTick's pricing page lists Starter, Pro and Enterprise but shows no prices and points you to "Book a demo". The ranges below come from DoubleTick's own December 2024 blog (lower end) and a 2026 Techjockey listing (higher end, billed yearly plus 18% GST).
| AiSensy | DoubleTick | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry plan | Basic ₹1,500/mo + GST | Starter about ₹2,000-₹2,500/mo + taxes, 5 agents |
| Mid plan | Pro ₹3,200/mo, owner + 5 agents | Pro about ₹3,000-₹3,500/mo, 10 agents |
| Extra agent | ₹750/month | ₹500/month |
| Chatbots | Add-on, ₹2,500/mo for 5 flows | Simple bots on Starter, advanced on Pro |
| Message rates | Published | Not listed; ask |
For a 10-agent support team, AiSensy Pro costs ₹6,950 a month before messages (₹3,200 plus five extra agents), or ₹9,450 with five flows. DoubleTick Pro is about ₹3,000-₹3,500 with 10 agents, bots, API access and integrations, but ask for its per-message rates before comparing full bills.
A cheaper option if you send under a few thousand messages
Disclosure: PayPerWA is our product. PayPerWA runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API with no subscription, no setup fee and no lock-in. You pay ₹0.20 per message plus Meta's charges, about ₹1.06 per marketing message in all, and failed messages are refunded to your wallet. It includes bulk campaigns, a team inbox, a chatbot builder, CSV import and delivery tracking.
- Marketing-heavy senders: ₹1.06 against ₹1.09, with no ₹1,500 plan fee. The gap is widest under a few thousand messages.
- Utility-heavy senders: AiSensy's ₹0.145 beats PayPerWA's ₹0.33 by ₹0.185 a message. If you mostly send order updates and OTPs, AiSensy Basic becomes cheaper above about 8,100 utility messages a month (₹1,500 ÷ ₹0.185, before GST).
- Pro features: if you rely on Pro's retargeting and scheduler, weigh that against the savings.
For a feature-by-feature view, see PayPerWA vs AiSensy; that page is being updated, so use this one for current AiSensy prices.
Where AiSensy is genuinely strong
AiSensy publishes its plan and message rates; DoubleTick's pricing page shows no prices, and WATI keeps its message rates in an in-account rate card. Basic's six seats for ₹1,500 are generous against WATI's three. Its ₹0.145 utility rate beats our own PayPerWA on order updates and OTPs, and its focus on Click-to-WhatsApp ads and broadcasts suits lead-generation businesses. If those match how you use WhatsApp, the markup is a fair price for the tooling.
Who should pick AiSensy, and who should skip it
| Your situation | Verdict |
|---|---|
| Click-to-WhatsApp ads, small team | Start on Forever Free, move to Basic |
| Broadcast-heavy, heavy segmentation | Pro; ask for Enterprise terms past 50,000 marketing messages |
| Utility- or OTP-heavy, 10,000+ a month | Good fit on per-message price; ask about tier pass-through |
| Support team of 10+ agents | Compare DoubleTick and WATI; seats cost ₹750 each |
| Shopify D2C store | Compare Interakt first: see our Interakt pricing breakdown |
| Under 3,000 marketing messages, irregular | Skip the subscription; pay-per-message is cheaper |
Codingclave's take
When clients show us an AiSensy invoice higher than they planned for, the gap usually comes from chatbot flows, extra seats and GST, not the plan fee they compared. Budget with the formula at the top, count flows from day one, and don't pay yearly until volume settles.
If AiSensy fits, we also set it up and connect it to your CRM or website; ask through our contact page.

Frequently asked questions
AiSensy's plan fee is ₹1,500 a month on Basic or ₹3,200 on Pro, 10% less if billed yearly, plus 18% GST. Messages to Indian numbers are paid from a prepaid wallet at ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility or authentication message. Replies to customers were free until 30 September 2026; from 1 October Meta charges them at the utility rate on every provider. Chatbot flows cost ₹2,500 a month for five, and each agent beyond the included owner plus five costs ₹750 a month. A business sending 1,000 marketing and 500 utility messages pays about ₹2,660 before GST; at 5,000 marketing and 2,000 utility it is ₹7,240-₹9,740.
₹999 and ₹2,399 were AiSensy's monthly prices before its pricing update of 1 July 2025. Accounts that renewed before that date kept the old rates, but every renewal or upgrade after it moves to the current prices: Basic ₹1,500 and Pro ₹3,200 a month plus GST. Many comparison articles, including some older pages on our own site, were never updated. If you are signing up in 2026, budget for the current prices. If you are still on a legacy plan, expect the higher rate at your next renewal.
AiSensy charges ₹1.09 per delivered marketing message to Indian numbers. Meta's India base rate for marketing is commonly quoted at about ₹0.86, so AiSensy adds about ₹0.23 per message, roughly 26%. On utility and authentication messages it charges ₹0.145 against a Meta base of about ₹0.115-₹0.13, a markup of ₹0.015-₹0.03. In rupees, the marketing markup is about ₹1,150 a month at 5,000 messages and ₹5,750 at 25,000. AiSensy's pricing page does not say whether these rates include GST, so check your first top-up invoice.
The plan fee is ₹0 with no time limit. AiSensy's help centre says it includes one agent, WhatsApp API access, the verified-badge application, Click-to-WhatsApp ads with ₹500 in ad credits, ₹50 in conversation credits, template creation, unlimited service conversations and live chat. Broadcasting and retargeting are not available, and tags are capped at 10. AiSensy charges nothing extra to apply for the verified badge (the old green tick), but Meta decides approval. Use the free plan to get approved and handle ad leads, then move to Basic at ₹1,500 a month for campaigns.
Pro costs ₹1,700 a month more than Basic, or ₹1,530 more billed yearly. It adds click tracking and retargeting, a broadcast scheduler up to two months ahead, automatic retry of failed messages, a CSV campaign scheduler, Project APIs, and 100 tags with 20 attributes instead of 10 and 5. Both plans include an owner plus five agents and charge the same per-message rates. Pay for Pro if you retarget people who clicked, segment your list more than ten ways or need to connect a CRM. A shop sending occasional offers to one list is fine on Basic.
Not any more. Until 30 September 2026, Meta did not charge for replies to customers who message you first, or for utility templates sent while that 24-hour window was open. From 1 October 2026, Meta bills both at the utility rate (about ₹0.115 in India) on every provider, so ask AiSensy what it charges per reply. An order update sent cold costs ₹0.145 on AiSensy, and OTPs cost ₹0.145 each. Chats that start from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad or Facebook Page button, answered within 24 hours, still get a 72-hour window in which every message is free.
