Leave Management System in Sitapur

I am Ashish from Codingclave in Lucknow. Sitapur is about 90 km north of my office, close enough to visit, and its employers work under the same Uttar Pradesh rules as ours. Here is what the page above leaves out.

Who actually buys leave software in Sitapur

The district is big and mostly rural. Census 2011 counted 44.8 lakh people in Sitapur district, and only 11.8 percent of them lived in towns, against 22.3 percent for UP as a whole. Sitapur city itself had 1.77 lakh people. The district has 2,348 census villages and a dozen towns: Biswan, Hargaon, Khairabad, Laharpur, Mahmudabad, Maholi, Misrikh, Sidhauli and a few more. The buyers for leave software are a handful of large employers and a long tail of small ones.

The large ones are the sugar mills. Oudh Sugar Mills at Hargaon, a K.K. Birla group unit, crushes about 10,000 tonnes of cane a day and runs a 15 MW cogeneration plant and a 100 kilolitre a day distillery. Dalmia Bharat Sugar has two units in the district. Ramgarh was the group's first sugar plant, set up in 1994, with 7,500 tonnes a day of crushing and 25 MW of cogeneration. Jawaharpur sits near Ramkot, 14 km out on the Sitapur to Hardoi road, commissioned in 2007 with 27 MW of cogeneration and an 80 kilolitre distillery. A mill has a permanent office and technical staff plus a seasonal workforce, and the two groups need different leave rules.

The other big employer is Sitapur Eye Hospital, founded in 1927 and at its present site since 1947. It houses the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and runs 800 beds, 600 in the general ward and 200 private, with branch hospitals across more than 32 towns in UP and Uttarakhand. Leave for nurses and optometrists there has to sit on top of a duty roster, not a flat calendar.

Then the small end. The district's One District One Product item is the durrie, the handwoven floor covering made in Khairabad, Laharpur, Biswan and Parsendi. Weaving units, cold storages, rice mills, private schools, coaching centres and clinics make up the rest of the buyers.

The rules your leave policy has to match

Two laws cover almost every Sitapur employer, and the software has to be configured for the right one.

The Shops Act also asks for a leave register (Form H) and an attendance and wages register (Form G). A new establishment has to register within six months of opening; the window was three months before the 2017 amendment. The labour inspector asks for these two registers, so the system prints them and you are not keeping a parallel paper book.

How I serve Sitapur from Lucknow

I do the demo on a video call, usually in Hindi, from demo.hrms.codingclave.agency, then everything moves to WhatsApp. Setup is remote: I load your holiday list, employee categories and approval chain, then train the HR person over screen share. Employees apply from their phones; the manager approves from theirs. For a mill or hospital that wants me on site for go-live, Sitapur is a morning drive up the Lucknow road and I do it.

When a local vendor is the better choice

If your need is mainly hardware, a biometric device at the factory gate or cabling, hire a Sitapur hardware shop for that part and connect the device to my system. If you want someone walking into your office every week, I am not that person. And if you have under ten staff and no inspector ever visits, a shared spreadsheet is fine; I will tell you so on the call.
