Employee Attendance Software in Vadodara

I am Ashish from Codingclave in Lucknow. Vadodara is a long way from me, so this page draws on the registers a Gujarat factory actually has to keep. Here is what the page above leaves out.

Who actually buys this in Vadodara

Not the giants. The IOCL refinery at Koyali handles 13.7 million tonnes a year, GSFC has been here since 1962, and Alembic, headquartered in the city since 1907, employs over 16,500 people. Plants that size have their own IT.

The likely buyers are the ancillaries. The district administration says Vadodara holds over 35 percent of India's power transmission and distribution equipment manufacturers, with an estimated 800 ancillary units. They sit in Makarpura GIDC alongside Siemens, ABB and Alstom, in the 800 hectare Savli GIDC estate with Alstom's coach factory, Thermax and Voith Hydro, and in the Nandesari chemical belt. A typical ancillary has 40 to 300 people: office staff, a shop floor on three shifts, and some contract labour.

The second group is the city itself. VMC covers 220 square kilometres and about 22.4 lakh people by its own estimate, and its clinics, coaching classes and showrooms still keep a paper muster more often than not.

The registers the inspector asks for

If you are a factory, the Gujarat Factories Rules 1963 set the forms, and my software prints them in the prescribed layout instead of you keeping a parallel book.

If you are a shop or office, registration runs through the Vadodara Municipal Corporation citizen portal under Shop & Establishment, or the statewide e-Nagar portal. The daily attendance register you keep under that registration comes out of the same data.

Language and the holiday calendar

Census 2011 put Gujarati as the first language for 71.37 percent of the city, Hindi for 14.83 percent and Marathi for 7.60 percent. So the employee app goes out in Gujarati with a Hindi toggle for migrant workers on the floor, and reports stay in English for the accountant. I load the Gujarat holiday list at setup. The provisional 2026 list has Uttarayan on 14 January, then Diwali on 8 November, Vikram Samvat New Year on 9 November and Bhai Bij on 11 November. If your unit shuts for the Diwali week, I mark the shutdown once so nobody is marked absent.
