Clinics, Doctors & Dentists for Canadian Businesses
We build websites for Canadian family physicians, dental clinics, walk-ins, dermatologists, physios, and specialists that handle real patient workflows — appointment booking, intake forms, recall reminders, and secure document upload — built around PHIPA in Ontario, HIA in Alberta, PIPA in BC, and PIPEDA where it applies. Patient-facing forms are built to WCAG 2.1 AA and tested with automated checks and a keyboard before launch.
Prices exclude GST/HST. Our invoices are issued from India; if your business is GST/HST-registered, ask your accountant how to account for imported services.
Who This Is For
Built for solo GPs, multi-doctor family practices, dental and ortho clinics, physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics, walk-in clinics, and specialty practices (dermatology, fertility, pediatrics) across Canada. Especially useful for new graduates opening their first practice and for established clinics still running on a 2014 WordPress site that no longer reflects their service mix or fails accessibility audits.
Canadian healthcare websites operate under stricter rules than US ones, and a common mistake with imported US templates is putting them on a US server — that single decision can create problems under PHIPA (Ontario), HIA (Alberta) or PIPA (BC), and most Canadian privacy officers expect personal health information to stay on Canadian soil. We host clinic builds in AWS ca-central-1 (Montreal) or ca-west-1 (Calgary) by default. Compliance layers: PIPEDA federally, PHIPA in Ontario (with breach notification at the first reasonable opportunity and a public statement of information practices), HIA in Alberta (PIPA for providers who are not HIA custodians), PIPA in BC, and the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector in Quebec — which after Law 25 (formerly Bill 64) is now arguably the strictest in North America. AODA in Ontario requires WCAG 2.0 Level AA for any clinic with 50+ employees and is best practice for everyone smaller given the College complaint landscape. Billing reality: patients cannot be charged for OHIP/MSP/AHCIP-insured visits, so those carry no price, but uninsured services (sick notes, work physicals, cosmetic injectables, dental hygiene above coverage cap, Invisalign, IV therapy, B12, weight-loss programs) can and should be priced transparently — that is often a meaningful share of practice revenue. EMR integration is where many website projects stall; we can integrate with OSCAR, Jane App (widely used by physio, chiro and RMT clinics), Dentrix, ClinicMaster, Telus PS Suite, Accuro and Dentally, to the extent each one's API or partner programme allows. SEO competition for "dentist near me" or "walk-in clinic [city]" is intense in dense urban areas — schema markup, real provider bios with credentials, accumulated Google reviews, and condition-specific landing pages are how you actually rank. Practice-management platforms often include a basic website; a custom site makes sense when you want your own brand, service pages that rank, and booking that fits your workflow.
What We Can Build
You choose what goes in. The lower end of CAD 2,500 – CAD 8,000 covers a branded site with the essentials; each extra feature or integration below moves the quote up, and a build with everything can go beyond the range. You get a fixed quote after scoping.
Online appointment booking (provincial-billing aware)
Patients book by service, doctor, or first available — with separate flows for OHIP/MSP/AHCIP-covered visits versus uninsured services (cosmetic, sick notes, work physicals) so the front desk knows the billing path before the patient walks in. The calendar can sync with Jane App, OSCAR, ClinicMaster, Dentrix, or your EMR, via API or iCal depending on what it supports.
Intake forms built around PHIPA / PIPEDA
Digital intake replaces the clipboard — encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in Canadian regions (AWS ca-central-1) to keep PHI on Canadian soil, with audit logs of who accessed what and when. Auto-flags allergies and current meds for the doctor, and cuts the re-typing your front desk does today.
Secure patient document upload + portal
Patients upload imaging, blood-work PDFs, referral letters, or insurance cards directly into their file before the visit — encrypted, virus-scanned, routed to the right chart in your EMR. Patient portal lets them download visit summaries, prescriptions, and tax receipts. Two-factor authentication enforced on the patient side.
AODA / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA and test with automated checks and a keyboard before launch, including the booking flow (often the weakest part of a clinic site), downloadable PDFs, and a public accessibility statement page. AODA requires WCAG 2.0 AA for Ontario organisations with 50+ employees, and it is good practice for smaller clinics too.
Recall + reminder automation
Automated SMS and email recall for annual physicals, dental cleanings, pap tests, vaccinations, and follow-ups — pulled from your EMR or a CRM built into the site. Two-way SMS so patients can reply "confirm" or "reschedule" without calling. Bilingual French/English templates for Quebec.
Service + condition SEO pages
Schema-rich pages for each service you offer — Invisalign, IUD insertion, B12 injections, cosmetic Botox, sports massage — built to compete for the "[service] near me" searches that bring in new patients. Bio pages for each provider with credentials and CPSO/RCDSO/CPSBC numbers properly marked up for E-E-A-T.

Clinics, Doctors & Dentists FAQs
We build to PHIPA expectations in practice: Canadian-region hosting (ca-central-1 / ca-west-1), TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, audit logs on access to health information, and a public information-practices statement drafted with you. Compliance itself is confirmed by your privacy officer or lawyer; at handover we give them a technical summary of how data is stored, accessed and protected.
Yes, where the EMR allows it. Jane App and OSCAR can usually sync appointments, providers and (where permitted) intake form data into the patient chart. Dentrix and ClinicMaster are often read-only for booking, with deeper sync if your version supports the right API. Telus PS Suite requires their partner program, and we can help you with the application.
Provincial-plan-covered services (anything billed to OHIP/MSP/AHCIP/RAMQ) carry no patient-facing price, because patients cannot be charged for insured services. Uninsured services (cosmetic, work physicals, sick notes, dental cleanings above insurance cap, etc.) can and should be priced transparently — College guidelines (CPSO, RCDSO, BC College of Oral Health Professionals) generally permit it, but check your College's current advertising rules before publishing prices.
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA and test with automated checks (axe-core) and a keyboard before launch, so the booking flow, intake forms and provider bios can all be used without a mouse. We also draft an accessibility statement page. Whether your practice meets its AODA obligations overall is for you and your advisers to confirm.
Quebec deployments default to French-first with English toggle, with all intake forms and email/SMS templates in French (French copy supplied or approved by you), and Law 25 privacy notice + consent flows built in (including the new right to data portability). We can hold data in Montreal (ca-central-1); your lawyer confirms Law 25 compliance, including any privacy impact assessment.
